You have to keep the valve cover and the valley cover on two separate lines. The other purpose of the lines is to keep neutral pressure inside the engine. If you run excessive vacuum you will gain Hp but wear out your rings. Or if you just keep it open, you risk contaminating the oil with foreign debris.

I kept the lines in basically the same format except for a small change. Lookin at the engine, instead of using the passenger side valve cover to intake tube, i used the driver side valve cover to oil tank, then to catch can, then to intake tube after MAF sensor.

The valley cover to intake manifold i also added a catch can,

this way i catch oil residue on both sides and keep the air flowing in both directions.

with TB closed air goes from tube to valve cover through engine to intake manifold, at WOT or similar, air flow in the opposite direction...
