Default taillight lens cover

Ok, so I have fantastic luck. The taillight on my V is messed up. The lens cover only came off. There is no damage between the housing and the lens cover itself. It is as if they just seperated. So my question is this, what does it take to put it back on?

yeah I was looking at putting some silicone glue of sort between the two...you can get that at any parts store right? Is there anything special about putting it back on though?
