Default LSR grind cam

Hey fellas, a buddy of mine is recommending this cam for my LS6 V.

Comp. LSR grind low lift 580
229/233 dur @50
LSA 113 +2

He said it will make power through the entire power band through 7,000rpm.
What do you think?

Itll make good power and drive good with a tuner who knows his stuff. Comp LSR lobes are aggressive and can be tough on valvesprings and make the valvetrain a tad noisy. I ran an LSR cam in my V and ran a larger Engine Power Systems cam(specially designed lobes LSL or LSk I think) in my notchback and the EPS lobes were silent compared to the V.

Very close to what my tuner recommends for Gen III LS engines, and LS2 as well: 228/234 111+3.
