Default adding resonators or highflow cats

I have 1 7/8 headers no cats magna flow x pipe to pypes m-80 mufflers sounds great an love the sound until over 3.5rpms. I wanna quite it down a lil an get more of a rumble an popping an reduce some rasp!! so my ? is say if I add 2 corsa resonators will it give me more rumble an I wanna gain some of my low end torque back or would high flow cats be better?

The rasp is from the x-pipe. Cats are always a good idea IMO, but high flows won't quiet it down too much. Some post X resonators may help tone down the rasp, but replacing the X with an H-pipe would be ideal.

So best is to add high flow cats an I like the loudness it at just the rasp I hate at high rpm

I liked mine with high flow cats but I also kept the stock resonator because its an x pipe surrounded by glasspack. Still had a tiny bit of rasp but it was a really clean tone.

When you say "rasp," are you referring to the high-pitched noise you hear as the motor winds down in this video at 0:55?
