LS9 clutch in an 07 CTS-V can it be done??
ok, i can get a killer deal on a new ls9 clutch from a budy that works at a local dealership, im currently doing a twin turbo setup, and i JUST want to know if its doable what needs to be done? i know i will need to shim the slave, but is there anything else that makes it not work, or not worth the time, i can get the clutch for 500 bucks with the flywheel NEW!!
anyways, just want to know if its doable, i dont really want to spend 1400 bucks on a twin disc from katech or spec or anyone else. so if this can or cant be done i want to know how or why not?
thanks

Flywheel/crank is a different bolt pattern and will not work. Some have found the LS9 to break the straps since the CTS-V is MUCH heavier than the ZR-1. The RXT twin disc has been used by many and can hold decent power.
