Default LS9R, What Slave to run?

Curious what slave cylinder everyone is running for those who run the LS9 (X or R) Clutch kit? Been eyeing this setup for a moment now and want to make sure I get everything I need replaced while the trans is out. Any insight or other recommendations on complete clutch kits would greatly be appreciated. Right now I am @ stock HP levels, but plan here in the near future of possible Maggie install as well as cam and upper end rebuild, so the hp increase will warrant the need for a clutch kit that will hold.

Thanks!

Saw that. Curious if I went this route, what FW option would be best for a vehicle that will be beat on, but DD'd.

With the LS9 kits, you need to run the CTS-V slave part # 12587376.
For the RXT, I would recommend a billet steel flywheel.

This, stock cts v slave, no spacer. I run an aluminum flywheel with no problems.

Thanks for all the quick responses everyone. I just recently picked up a used CTS-V and am really enjoying it. It needs a little TLC, but luckily I work on cars for a living so getting parts and a available lift to perform installs on makes life a touch easier. Right now shes a DD for me, but I hope to eventually build the engine and potentially throw a Maggie on her, hence why I asked the question in the OP.

Oooh this is very tempting. I know Mcleod clutches have an excellent rep. and haven't herd many if anyone who uses them being disappointed with their purchase.

Hey Fuzz, what FW (manufacture & weight) would you recommend with this clutch setup if I were to jump onboard with your potential group buy? I would love any insight on everything I would need to or recommend picking up if I were to do this clutch setup (slave, pilot, fw, alignment tool if one is not included, GM FW bolts and PP bolts or ARP)

Thanks!
