I am not at all happy with the McLeod at this point. I get to the point of installing the damn thing I open the box and it's missing one of the ARP 12 point pressure plate nuts. After tearing through the box and combing through the 30 ft of packing paper I found the flat and lock washers, but no nut. I call Mike and he has one sent out.

Installed the flywheel and getting everything together I find they included the three Ford dowel pins for the adapter ring vice the two GM pins. The guys over at SFK speed said they would have them out first thing, but I am amazed at the exceedingly poor QC on McLeod's part.

It really sucks that I can't put everything together b/c the "premium" $1k clutch kit has missing and incorrect parts.

Are we talking about the same clutch? Mine came pre-assembled. The extra pins are sitting in my storage container of extra car stuff.

Yes...mine was pre-assembled also but I never opened everything all the way. I checked the contents quickly and put everything in a hallway that is never used. I never noticed the nut missing until I took everything out of the box. I did see the set of three dowel's but never tried to assemble anything until I was ready to install. The three Ford dowels are much larger than the GM pieces, these were the only ones in the bag.

This has just been my luck lately I guess.

Didn't you already have the GM dowels installed?

No...the new McLeod flywheel did not have them either.

I need to get a new Mcleod RXT as mine seems to have **** the bed for no apparent reason after putting in a new transmission. Is there something you could work out for me for a rxt and pilot bearing? It's going in a highly modified c6z, don't know if that makes any difference.

Is the rated power to the ground or flywheel? The car makes 570 on motor then has a 250-400 shot of nitrous on top of it, not sure what the numbers are, but I know they'll be between 900-1100.

Thanks for any help,
Brett
