Going to be replacing the driveshaft, anyone have any recommendations.
I saw Gforce had 1 & 2 Piece shafts, and DSS had an aluminum and Carbon fiber 1 Piece shafts.
Im iffy about the 1 piece aluminum shafts due to critical speed being <150, carbon fiber one seems a little pricey but id rather do this right one time. The 2 Piece drive shaft i heard they were having supply/shipping problems.

Already have a newer diff and CS diff bushing, was going to do Gforce axle shaft upgrade as well.

Any Suggestions?

make sure the bolt on the rear end where the cs bushing goes is tight. i changed my rear end fluid today and realized that that bolt was finger tight. i was about to order a new bushing but the stock one is still good. somehow it was loose. no more clunking. the pumpkin moved up and down almost an inch before i tightened it. I had some vibration on the highway, but havent checked to see if that was the problem. feels 100 times better already tho.

I just bought the 2-piece GForce. Installing tomorrow. I'll post impressions after.

EDIT: Heavy, did you have to grind your shift linkage/shifter down to fit the 1-piece? Some have, but only with aftermarket shifters I believe. I was told the 2-piece from GForce did not interfere with the shifter, stock, or aftermarket.

Nope.

But I shipped the driveshaft back so they could move the weights as I was hitting them.

I think they now have this area "roped off" on newer shafts.

I have had issues with the G Force 2 piece hitting the shifter when under load. Especially when I really get on it. Can feel and hear it hit the weights. I am thinking mine will be going back to get reworked to eliminate this.

I had a shitload of snow frozen on the inside of my wheels and on my driveshaft. 10 minutes at the carwash with the high pressure hot water fixed that.

You have the 9" kit though right? If so, different DS...lengths are different at least. Not sure about diameter.
