Default v1 Weapon X carbon fiber solution!

So after a year of reading threads that got started and ended up getting no where I decided to take matters into my own hands. I'm starting this up gauging interest for those who "REALLY" want to have these pieces made. I have spoken to a rep at Weapon X Motorsports, a shop that is very well known for already having a great selection of products for the Cts-v 2 (2009+). What we came to after talking a while is he will provide any carbon fiber pieces we want as long as we have at least 10 buyers for each part to make it worth all the work being put in. He will need a doner part for each item we want reproduced in carbon fiber so he can mold the product. He is willing to make exterior, interior, and engine bay parts. I'm willing to purchase any item y'all want produced being Cad-zilla is currently shedding weight at this time. So really we need 9 buyers for whatever yall desire. What do yall think?

How is identifying the #1 weight loss option considered hatred?

Start with that. Then go down the list from the biggest gains to the smallest.

I wonder what the weight savings would be on a complete carbon fiber body?

Not necessarily anything. Carbon fiber is lighter than aluminum for the same unit volume, but it's not a great material for certain parts.

+1 on the splitter, hood, trunk lid

Could we get a diffuser, and/or rockers.

Interior door handles, my aluminum plated ones are peeling.

I think the most successful mod would be a new front fascia that accepted second generation CTS-V grilles.

I/we know the seats are a great weight savings, I have two sparco's sitting in my living room, but they have been put on the back burner to other projects.

This was a thread for carbon fiber and thee first post, is essentially knocking it down by saying change the seats. Or, were you wanting carbon fiber seats?

That would have zero flex. 1st curb stop=destroyed.

Also, the hood would need to match.

+1 for some sort of front splitter where that rubber piece is. Similar to the one spectrewerks had just not so prominent/ as in not requiring flares to look decent. Think we already have 4 ppl for that)

Ever misjudge the height of a curb, pull too far into a parking spot, or maybe try to make the car fit in a tight spot?

Never. You have to be careful with a lowered car.
