Is anyone here running a one piece 3.5" driveshaft with the stock resonators still on the car?
I am looking to change to a custom one piece shaft but want to avoid hacking off the resonator so I can keep the car quiet.
Thanks in advance for input!!

Can't help really on the fitment but....when I did my 8.8 kit I asked the drive shaft shop about making a 1 piece to go along with the kit and, there are only 2 choices Aluminum or carbon fiber. Now the difference is what their critical speed is. With the aluminum if you took the car past 150 mph you are at its critical speed. The carbon fiber would be somewhere between 180-200. Then there is their 2 piece which came with the kit, and its critical speed is 225+. So, basically the only savings would be weight and that carbon fiber shaft would cost around 1800 beans. The aluminum 1 piece would be 1000=1200$. The 2 piece came in somewhere around 8-900$. Not sure of the weight difference between the 3 but the 1 piece aluminum would be pointless.
Also back to your fitment question call the DSS, they make the 1 piece carbon fiber shaft already for the V so I'm sure they can answer this. Also, I doubt they would make a 1800$ drive shaft which then gave you the shaft by making you change exhausts. So I'm fairly certain it will fit just fine.
