B&B is a few hundred more and I won't see much gain between 2.5 and 3" unless I went forced induction. I doubt that will ever happen with this car. Price per HP is too pricey compared to other cars I own. I just want to get close/above 400whp.

I'm still deciding on what exhaust or if I should even buy an exhaust as there is conflicting information. I was looking at the magna exhaust also and I think I could do 600 but around 1k, doesn't seem worth it.

If the stock exhaust is so good why does anyone buy exhaust?

Sound, and each vender claims 15hp and 15-20ft lb torque. I'm sure there is a slight power gain with less restrictive mufflers and better X-pipe.

let me know what ebay seller you decide to go through, I am interested in getting as exhaust as well. Just tried offering a couple sellers around the 600 range and all got declined

According to my exhaust guy, the stamped metal magnaflow x-pipe is not a great x-pipe. The cross-over is too sudden. It might even wind up with worse flow than the stock pipes. Honestly guys, magnaflow 2.5 inch is just a sound mod. Other tubing may be smoother and give you better flow while staying 2.5 inch, but not by much. If you are looking for a performance gain, changing up to 3 inch is really all that will do it.

That or dumps behind the headers.

Submitted a counter offer through performancepeddler_west for 650 and they came back with $660. Although they didn't seem to want to go through eBay. He said to call the 800 number. I'm guessing they didn't want to get stuck with the fees. I went to their website since I was at work and sent them an inquiry there for the Magnaflow 16637 exhaust (under Customer Service). Offer them $660 and they should take it.

I also have some UMI Motormounts on the way from ColoradoSpeed and I'll have HPTuners in a month.

Buy the unpolished magnaflow muffers (same thing in the full cat-back) from Jegs for $80 each. Cut old mufflers out, weld in new ones with a couple of 45deg elbows from the auto store. Take the money you saved, and buy LT pacesetters for $450 and ditch the cats. Everything bolts right up (mostly) and itll get you a lot of bang for your buck. Leave the stock resonator/X. Drones a tad in 6th as others have said, but not bad at all.
