Default Maggie rear pulley swap a NO go

The 2.9 rear pulley they put on the jack shaft just won't fit the bearing hub. I ordered a 3.2 to make it work. It'll be over driven but not as easy as I thought. Just an FYI . Ill update what I get out of it once the pulley comes in in a week :-(

Do you have any idea what speed the blower will be spinning at with that setup? Just wondering how far over recommended specs it will be if it will be.

well anything over the stock maggie pulleys is not recommended. lol

ill do the formula after i get it back together and see what front pulley ill end up with. at 10lbs my iat's werent too bad. im hoping to get another couple pounds of it and solve my slip issues i had with the 2.6. prolly gonna end up with a slight over driven rear, over driven balancer and 3.0-2.8 front depending on iat's and the curve i get. going from the 2.8 to the 2.6 gave me 25 ft lb's of torq so we'll see

Your really stepping into another area of the maggies on the ctsv and I hope your successful. Sure would be nice to bump that compression back up though if you plan on sticking with the maggie for a while.

I was thinking the same thing. Like decking the heads and such but I'm really leaning towards a bigger blower or twins. I'm leaving alot on the table with just the cam but the at drives like its stock. So idk.

This is it for the Maggie though.. Little spray to get me thru the summer then ill decide from there

Yea some spray will definetly be a good thing. Its amazing how much PD blowers like the bottle and with a forged motor you can throw a decent amount at it.
