Probably the shittiest photoshop ive ever done...but here it is...
Is this what you were thinkin??? would you want the switch moved or to add any switches to it?
Also the gauge isn't actual size I just eye balled it for now...let me know what you think...

The problem with putting a gauge there is depth and height. You have to pull the back of the gauge apart unless your plan to cut out the bottom of the ashtray. Also the gauge needs to be very flat to be able to close unless again you cut out some plastic.

If i recall mine is pretty slim. So i dont have to worry much about depth. And if he makes me the mounting plate i can work with it to get a good fit.
