Default what size wheel and tire

*edit* nevermind, I went and looked under my car. With my 285 tires, the next interference is ~3/4" when I would hit the shock. So I guess I could go from a 285 to a 305... not sure if that would require a new rim though.
I haven't read the entire post but I know from experience.275 on a stock rim.
I have 9 7/8th's stock alloy rims..and 285 is the widest and safest I can go with Map Crap arms. I love the look of these new red arms but u can't safely go to a 305.. The freakin steel frame is in the way...If u use an inch plus spacer u will look like a fourwheeler. Unless u put on 1BADCTS's rear fender wide body quaterpanel wheelwells...275's or get a professional 4 link done and the steel frame won't matter caues it just won't be there.Then u could put 345's on. but unless u are putting out some serious power...275's are fine...All show and no go gives the CTS-V boys a bad rap...

how did mallett run a 12" rear wheel on the V1? When they say its been tubbed 4", did they move frame rails and subframe mounting points??
