I have to agree. Digital music for the most part is no where the same quality as CDs and even XM radio. So you sacrifice quality for convenience.

Well I can. Maybe it's because I grew up during the transition from tape to CD and heard great strides in quality(2 15"s in the trunk helped too ) only to now hear it fall off. Here's an interesting article about this topic-

One of the important take-aways from it is the fact that digital music quality is hampered by signal strength. So unless your car is hard wired to the net, I'm thinking a CD in the player is going to sound better.
