Boost numbers? Why only 6200? Seems like it should climb to 550's by 6600+.

Good question however redline is 6500. Rough extrapolation says I'd be at ~520rwhp at 6500 rpm.

Looks awesome!

I second the boost number question. How does it feel on the street?

Didn't get the boost will have to call him. Unfortunately I didn't get to romp on it too hard as two lug studs broke on the right rear wheel.

Not bad at all considering the lack of supporting mods. Longtubes would probably gain another 30+rwhp.

I fought breaking lug studs on my last car. It was the only time I ever used a torque wrench on them and ended up being some oil or grease on the tapered surface drastically changing the torque. On the off chance that is your issue then check for it.

Raybestos 2093B (1.575"), ARP 100-7709 (1.850"), and ARP 100-7708 (2.500")

I recommend trying the ARP 100-7709 for the rear studs. FWIW, I use the ARP 100-7708 studs on the front wheels, because they permit me to run a 3/8" spacer there. If you try to run the 100-7708 without that size spacer, you will destroy most nuts (including McGard Spline Drives). The knurl on the 100-7709 is a little smaller than I'd like, but I should know in a day or two whether it'll work on the SKF X-Tracker.

Fuzzy will those longer wheel studs work on the rear without spacers and closed lug nuts?

No. That's the thing that sucks--you need 3/8" (0.375" or just under 10mm) worth of spacers to get these to work. Unfortunately, ARP doesn't make a stud longer than 1.850" or shorter than 2.500". If they made something in the 2-2.250" range, I'd be all over that.

Couldn't you trim down a longer one?

i deff see 30+ with headers and changing the volant filter. i have the same box and filter and it has become a restriction. i bought a 8in long replacement for when i have time to swap my blower. i really would like to see what its doing as far as boost goes.. i still think that 2.6 is slipping

I don't know what filter the volant uses but the lingenfelter uses a very large k&n. I can try to find a part number for it tonight if it is on the filter.

"volant" uses a 4.5in long cone with an 8in base in our boxes. they sell a 8x8 cone that just barely fits in the box. lingenfelter sells the k&n cai that has a heat sheild, not a full box like volant. volant filters as far as ive been able to find are the only ones using the 8in base

Probably. I've got a few extra--I'll give it a shot and show you how it goes.

Thread a nut on, hit the stud with a cutoff wheel and unthread the nut to clean up the threads. I just did it on some arp bolts for the bypass valve.

25 months later, and discontinued, I'm sure they are. You should buy both!
