revshift flex disk
revshift flex disk I just installed the revshift flex disk. Took it for a spin and around 50-70 it has horrible vibration! Do I need to rotate the ds and see if it gets better?
First you need to make sure that youre not having alignment problems. check the transmission mount, the engine mounts... follow the revshift instructions for checking alignment. also check your carrier bearing for sagging. Any sagging will put the middle of the driveshaft out of alignment with the transmission and with a stiffer flex disc, will cause vibration.
If your driveshaft carrier bearing is torn or sagging, PM me.

I'm sure FuzzyLog1c will chime in when he sees this but I don't think he had anything good to say about these if I recall. No first hand experience with these myself though.

Looks like I do need a transmission insert. Never looked before. But mine was totally gone! Shimmed it up with washers for now. It has the vibration around 30 like everyone else has experienced. But it goes away just as fast as it comes.
