Default No steam holes/vents?

For those of you running aftermarket heads, many (like Trick Flow) don't come with steam holes for venting. Did you drill and tap them to re-establish the vents? Did you leave them out and not worry about it? I understand the function of the steam vents is to allow air out of the system at the highest point (the heads) and prevent localized overheating but I also worry about blowing out head gaskets if the block is set up for steam vents but the heads are not.

just got my engine back and, contrary to what the Trick Flow site says, they do have steam holes on all 4 corners. I'm going to give a -4 AN setup a try: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141063124830

C&R has an -AN vent kit for that same price on Summit. Not that it's a terribly complicated thing to make, so the generic ebay one might be fine, but I just figured I'd mention it since C&R makes good stuff.

I just found that the other day and have been debating adding that sort of setup to my car.
