Whipple off, rethinking my next option

Have you tried an AMSOIL EAAU-6081 (or -6080) in conjunction with a Spectre 9604 velocity stack? It should be the cleanest, largest, most free-flowing filter you can find, unless there's a competitor with a larger filter that is also a quality piece of work.
General size comparison
EAAU-6081 and Spectre 9604 vs. 3 lb bottle of Syntha-6
Far out, dude!
Velocity stack installed
Beefcaaaake!!

dig the filter, I need a new one. There isn't alot of room under there, I even used a 45* to push the filter further inside the bumper, so it wouldnt sit on the fender liner.

That muscle powder is good for another 10whp! J/K nice options on the filter Fuzzy! I like Amsoil filters too but partial to AEM dryflow which I believe is made by K&N but have good flow data.
I'm still bouncing around the idea of getting LS3 small bore heads for my LS6 then getting my bolt-on power! Any news if the Magnuson Heartbeat will bolt up to (only options are rectangle ports) the V1? Not sure if it's slimmer for a better fitment under the hood. The LS3 guys say Eforce for power under 5k rpm and Heartbeat for above 5k rpm.

Glad to see everything got to you! Cant wait to see the install.
To anybody else interested. I can get these individual parts from Edelbrock, but please note it took A WHILE to get the order together with them as compared to an "in the catalog" part number

Still need those pics of iat/map set up. Need to hook something up, but doesn't appear to have any openings on the head unit. Need ports for map, iat, and boost reference. Would like to see what you other eforcers did.

Progress has been a bit slow, bought a new house, and waiting on parts and such.
But here is a couple progress pics.
Intercooler hex, mounted
Monster clutch twin disc lt1-sc installed.
Head unit mocked up.
I have an Idea for the Iat a little different than the other guys did, I'll post pics up once I do it.
Right now I need the Edelbrock valley cover, The LS2 doesn't work because of the oil pressure sensor and PCV hose clearance. I thought it would, but oh well.
Just waiting on Mike to get back to me on it. Its the final piece I need to continue.
I have a million other things to keep me busy in the mean time.

Haven't insatlled the manton reservoir yet for the intercooler. The Moroso one in the pic above is for my power steering fluid. My stock one cracked at one of the lines. The moroso is actually cut, taking a couple of inches out and rewelded, so it fits.
Does the job and looks better than the stock one epoxied together.

To make things potentially easier on anyone else that installs an Eforce, the filter and mounting flange that comes with their kit is very good and includes an integrated velocity stack as well as a slot for card MAF mounting. The only thing I would suggest adding is some honeycomb airflow straightner http://saxonpc.com/100mm-cells-for-100.html. I am doing this one mine now to reduce some of the instability in MAF data in the low flow regions.
Tommy,
There is a port on the drivers side of the blower. It is very easy to miss.

Sorry guys for the long delay!!
Been so busy, with work, new house, renovating a man cave.
Not to mention waiting on parts.
Took awhile to finally get the valley cover, only to find out it doesn't come with orings. Sold my stock modified one with whipple, it had the orings I needed. Then When it came time to install the pulleys it the brackets wouldn't fit with the edelbrock water pump I had, go figure. So I had to order a new stock pump, which got held at customs for almost two weeks, stupid canadian border. Not to mention set backs on a couple minor things missed.
Well as soon as I get time, I just need one more day to get her going.
Just need to finish hooking up the fuel lines, do some hosing for the Intercooler , and get the intake tubing cut to fit. Top up some fluids and I'm good to go.
My car is about an hour drive from me, one way, and have only been working on it on select Sundays , usually with a hangover. So it's been a longer process than it should have been.
