If you need a new one, rock auto has the AC Delco for 383. There are some other brands that are a little cheaper too. I still doubt you need a new throttle body. Unless you pressed as hard as you could with your hand and actually bent or distorted the blade, but I doubt that as well. Take that same intake cleaner and spray it around that vac line you disconnected while the car is running. It the idle surges, you found it, if not keep spraying things like the intake tube after the MAF etc. It really sounds like a leak somewhere.

How long did you leave the battery off? Sometimes it takes a while. Like if you unplug it and put it right back on, it might not do anything my last car did that. Leave it off for like 10 minutes if you haven't already.

I drove it around town and it doesn't idle in the 2k's if I'm above 30mph. Any lower and it'll rise around 2k. And if I keep foot on brake it'll decrease alittle. But I looked and looked for vacuum leaks cracks bends and couldn't find anything. Ill try the cleaner and hoses. But yea the battery thing was like 2 min I think. No wait actually around 15ish. Unhooked when rex leaned TB again today.

spray carb cleaner around where you think there may be a leak, if the car revs or acts different, you have a vacuum leak.
I had my throttle body sitting on a bench when my engine was apart, and i dropped a wrench on the blade. put a ding in it, but it works completely fine, and has for about a month.
You just need to drive the car for about 100 or so miles and it'll relearn everything.

We'll I replaced hose with new hose and still high rpm climb. Haven't put clamps on it yet but will. Then I found another hose that seems to have touched heads and started to melt alittle. I think ima replace the vac line also. Vac lines are supposed to be right when plugged in right? Bottom hise on left

I would disconnect the battery, then unbolt the throttle body and inspect the green o-ring seal that sits between the throttle body and the intake manifold. Carefully remove the seal and flip it over so the side that was touching the throttle body is now facing the intake manifold. Inspect the back side of the throttle body, clean the back side of the blade. Bolt the throttle body back up, tighten the 4 bolts hand snug, don't over tighten them (106 inch pounds or 8 ft lbs). Reconnect everything and test it out
If this makes a difference either A. Drive it for a while and see if it acts up again or B. Order a new gasket and replace it later.
Not saying this is a fix, just a trouble shooting step that might help.
