I'm just trying to show alternatives for someone who may have an LS6 and want rectangular ports to bolt on. I think the small bores are a good compromise if someone doesn't have the cash to punch a motor out or get a new motor entirely. I'm not trying to split hairs.

Im not saying in general but I think there are much better alternatives then just swapping to a stock casting head. A set of Trick flows or AFRs or even properly ported 243s would be better IMO then stock lsa heads.

I hear you there. A lot of things can be done with 243s (or similar) to improve upon them. My opinion is that, if I can run a rectangular port, I'm going to. More room to grow. Cathedrals are not bad heads, they flow very well, it's just my hope are I can find a LS3 motor so I can make enough power to keep up at the big tracks here in California. So many plans... So little time. It will be a lot easier when my kid starts school in 3 years. I will be free to work on the Cadillac all day long if I want. Can't wait.
