Should be much stronger, full bolt-on V here that put down 349rwhp on a mustang dyno.

A lot of misrepresented or confused information in this thread, let me clear this up.

The guys car is stock. Neither the crappy K&N filter/"CAI" or the catback exhaust do anything for performance.

Common dyno numbers stock are 330 +- 5hp on dynojets. He is right in line with this.

Unless you're having driveability issues I don't see any problems in the output of your car. If you want to see 360, get headers and the retune.

The most I have seen/read was 1 rwhp.

I think that would be 2nd to a new clutch. It is not always about the power adders, but the items we add that allow the power robbers! lol

You're right. I was under the impression he had headers, in which case, it looked low.

He's on the money otherwise without headers.

^^^Yeah that's what I was thinking when I first read your mod list. A lot of people might get confused between an actual intake (like Fast102) or CAI which kind of helps other mods down the road. For now, your CAI is more of a sound mod.

As for future mods...headers + tune would probably add 20+hp but I agree with what 54 was saying about critical mods that don't add power.

I'd put motor mounts, diff bushing, tranny mount and shifter at top of the list. These will make your car drive more crisp with less clunk. The motor mounts alone made a huge difference in my car's throttle response. It's like it jumps when you give it gas now versus a slight lag previously.

Oh and WELCOME TO MOD HELL...

My car made 343rwhp with a K&N CAI and tune. Your car seems right in line with that.

Please do not listen to this retard, your AF is not 'too lean', it looks like its around 13.7:1 which is optimal for an NA car.

Also, there is nothing wrong with ethanol in today's gas. If you want to be ignorant feel free to believe that.

In regard to your low power, it doesn't seem low to me at all. Your tuner should know in 1-2 pulls if it's pulling timing because of "bad" gas.

From what I can see the 13.7:1 was before the cam and presumably tune, I do believe that this is too lean even N/A and as you can see the tuner richened it up to 12.8:1.

Furthermore I would agree with that 12.8:1 is also too lean given the ethanol in today's gasoline. However I would almost guarantee the wideband was calibrated for a 14.7:1 stoich. Assuming this is true you're looking at 12.3-12.4:1 on E10, which looks good to me.

dynojet vs mustang dyno

Also, you can make a stock V make 1000whp with enough setting manipulation, comparing numbers from different dynos is kind of pointless.

Or you could just have a tuesday car

Agreed but this was a dyno day they slapped it on there and dynod it and I was simply stating what I made on a dynojet.
