New cam. Once we are done building my Buddy's turbo camaro... This is going in the Cadillac. Can't wait. We are using my garage for his build so I don't have enough room to have both cars torn down.

I'm honestly more worried about my starter. I need to heat shield that bitch. One of the connectors was kinda harsh looking from the header heat. Gotta get on that sooner rather than later.
I tried a starter blanket but it really didn't help much. The car wouldn't start after a long run, engine shut off and immediate restart. I now use a thin, rigid aluminum shield I made mounted to one of the starter mounting bolts. So far everything works well.

With the LS9 clutch, you have to get a flywheel that will fit the 6 bolt crank. Also, get the clutch master cylinder kit from philistine.

Oh and as an aside... Summit racing is so easy to deal with... Even when the screw up was totally my fault, one call, no problem switch it out. I accidentally ordered the -10an fittings on the fuel filter housing. 5 minutes on the phone. In this day and age actual customer service is very welcome indeed... Even if its for something small and inconsequential.

It never ends.

Just read this thread for the first time. Nice, early-morning read.

I'd like to think its going to end at some point... And of course you tell the wife it is going to end some day. But it won't... Building racecars... The struggle is real.
