Time for a New Clutch. Quick ??
So, while messing around with a G8 today I ended up creating some smoke on the 3rd run. Smoke not coming from the tires when we raced from a dig. Smoke came from under the car and immediately pulled over and let it for a bit. Peddle was mushy and was hard to go in gear. After letting it sit for a bit. Went in and peddle felt better and was going in gear freely, so I drove her home.
Now I'm looking at a McLeod RST twin disk to avoid this problem again.
Car is 07 CTS-V with a Maggie...
My questions are:
Which Flywheel do you guys recommend to go with this clutch?
Can I use a LS stock Flywheel?
Or should I spend the money on another one?
Will an LS Flywheel work with the clutch?
By the way, I won all the runs until that last run when the clutch crapped out. Lol
Thanks for any advice.
