A recent news article stated a car rental company was tracking it's vehicles via their navigation systems and charging for excess speed, crossing state lines etc.
What's to stop an insurance company from tracking a V and raising rates for various "physics experiments" involving things like acceleration, terminal velocity, etc.?
In other words, can the onstar/nav be turned off when not needed/wanted?
