MAF on check engine light

Default MAF on check engine light

Okay so I got a aftermarket air intake Lingnenfelter and the check engine light came on and took it to a shop and they said car is running lean checked for leaks and their is none also changed the sensor and still on. So does that mean I need a tune?

Not for just an intake. Something else is wrong. Did you install it?

What is the exact code it's throwing? If you changed your MAF, I'm guessing it's MAF related, but I think we'd all like to know.

My volant is causing a p0171 and p0174, it started the day after installation and comes and goes. From what ive seen in other threads is that it can either be caused by excess oil on the MAF or the air flow pattern is changed by the aftermarket intake.

Yeah those are the same codes it was throwing.
