I chose black to match the engine
The zip-tie is a temp (hopefully) fix 'till Speed Inc can make a functional CTS-V air intake. I have tried to make an appointment for a couple weeks through PMing them-but PM takes forever and they never responded to me last time. I don't have time now to design something so this is what I had to do. Yes, it's butch! But this intake is USELESS without the zip-tie mod!

I have also been in contact with 4 other CTSv owners other than sslegend. I hope to have something worked out for the CTSv and GTO as soon as production would allow.

Gotta love those zip ties.
Hope they are able to come out with a fix soon. A heat shield would also be nice. I do have a question concerning the ABS plastic elbow. Do you think it would be possible to hook it up to the factory airbox with a flexible sleeve??? The only real problem I see with the factory air box is the small diameter elbow. Looks like a couple of mods inside the factory box and we could have a sealed cold air kit that flowed a lot better with the bigger elbow. Let me know what you think.
