Any word yet on the bracket you were needing. I want an intake, but don't want one that flops around.

Thanks,
Shane

I chose black to match the engine The zip-tie is a temp (hopefully) fix 'till Speed Inc can make a functional CTS-V air intake. I have tried to make an appointment for a couple weeks through PMing them-but PM takes forever and they never responded to me last time. I don't have time now to design something so this is what I had to do. Yes, it's butch! But this intake is USELESS without the zip-tie mod!

Zip-tie mod, just like the Vettes! Well, not just like, but same name.

I have also been in contact with 4 other CTSv owners other than sslegend. I hope to have something worked out for the CTSv and GTO as soon as production would allow.

sslegend,

Gotta love those zip ties. Hope they are able to come out with a fix soon. A heat shield would also be nice. I do have a question concerning the ABS plastic elbow. Do you think it would be possible to hook it up to the factory airbox with a flexible sleeve??? The only real problem I see with the factory air box is the small diameter elbow. Looks like a couple of mods inside the factory box and we could have a sealed cold air kit that flowed a lot better with the bigger elbow. Let me know what you think.
