It's 3M Di-noc. Buy a 12x12" sheet from Amazon and cut it out. It's really easy to apply. I didn't even scrape off the screwed up rubber from the bezel and mines been holding up for the last few years no problem.

Thanks! Yea its just 3m di-noc vinyl. I buy it off of metrostying.com they seem to be the cheapest. I removed all the old soft touch with a rag and goo gone, it works wonders.

I removed the original coating from my shift bezel, sanded it as smooth as I could and sprayed it with some krylon semi gloss black. It's held up pretty well and looks the part of the original interior. It's not a texture match, but being a bezel the semi gloss trim looks pretty good.

Thanks man! Appreciate it.

Slow on the updates lately, I have been trying to get power ran out to my barn and get the panel and electrical done before the snow flys. I am currently waiting to get the fan shroud from my buddy with the plasma table then I will do some test fitting.

On my first Lsa build, with the 1/2 plates, I was able to use my stock hood. And I was also able to use my stock radiator and fans. Yes everything is tight but doable, you will be real good at removing the radiator and fans when your done.

Did you have to modify the fans in a way to get them to slip in? And were you using the same OEM V2 accessory drive as the OP and myself?

They don't fit on my car unless I cut the top core support and lean the rad forward and I'm not cutting the car up to cut corners. Its just easier to run aftermarket fans. I already have the shroud made and test fitted in the car.

Update time!

So I'm slowing down on the actual supercharger swap stuff because most of it is done other than odds and ends. I am working on finishing running power to the back garage so I can tig weld some stuff up, I have about 6 things I have to weld for this car. This fan shroud will be released for pre orders in about 1.5 weeks once I receive the fans in the mail and can do final fit.

Update: Pulled the dif apart cleaned and inspected it, decided I'm not gonna waste any money on it if, if it breaks it breaks. Pulled the rear cradle apart and painted it and added creative steel cradle bushings. made some progress on the fan shroud.

Since I'll be tearing into my diff soon, I'm curious what it was about your inspection that put you off investing time/money into it. Was a backlash check part of your inspection? How were the bearings?

The fans are 12" low pro spal fans. They prob aren't gonna move enough air, so I am looking into a different set of fans. I figured I would atleast try these because if they fans don't work the whole shroud is useless lol.

Yea I bring stuff to work to paint during the day cause the shop is warm. My front garage has no heat in it and being in Michigan this time of year it's getting cold. Trying to get my 30x40 shop behind my house finished up but that's taking longer than expected.

Everything looked nice in the rear end bearings looked good races all looked nice and backlash checked out within spec. So being that the dif is a ticking time bomb with any type of power I decided I was gonna run it till it breaks. I have a 8.8 sitting in the shop for the car, just have to pick up all the brackets and stuff.

The inner cvs on my axles have excessive play in them so I will address that. I plan to make around 650 with this car so really its a matter of time.

Might as well get the 8.8 brackets and put that diff in while it's all out.

Just do it now. You'll save yourself a ton of headaches later on after everything is all buttoned up.
