Hankook V12 vs Nitto 555
I have 245 fronts and 275 rears on TD 18x9 wheels. Need new fronts finally. I’ve always hated the Goodyear RSAs that I had put on when I bought the car (for distance specifically). Nearly put 40k on the damn things and I still have a pair left. I have 275 Nitto 555s on the back that I bought from a member here. They’re fine. I dont drive hard enough or far enough for it to matter all that much but here we are anyway.
Should I just get the 555s for the front too, even though I assume they’re not exactly the same either due to design evolution and whatnot, or should I just put on the v12’s and plan on them for when the rears wear out. I imagine at some point I should aim to get all 4 of the same type on the thing right?
Anyone have an opinion on something like this?

I also run staggered V12 Evo II's (2nd set). It's a really good tire. It's great in the rain and really good in the dry. They do spin really easy in cold but do get better as the tire warms up. They are lousy in the snow. I'm really hard on the car including corners/offramps. I get almost 10,000 miles out of the rear and double that for fronts.
My rears are worn out right now. I'm going to switch to Firestone Indy 500's, since they look like they'll corner harder, and 275/40/18's were only $153. Strangely the 245/45/18's cost more.
Nitto's tend to run small. There's a chance you could go with their 285's if they have one in the right OD.

i really like the 555g2 tire. i have had it on there about a year and i only drive about 1k miles a year but they have been great. wear i dont care about but they are solid in straight line, corner, very predictable, i generally dont drive in rain and def not snow but i plan to buy them again. i have 255's on stock wheels at all 4 corners.
