Default Spark Plugs & Coils for LS-6?

I need to replace spark plugs and coils for my 2005 CTS-V. 123K miles. I have been keen on Denso plugs before. And I've seen good reports on MSD coils. I just drive the car on normal roads--i.e., I don't take it to the track--LOL. Any recommendations for both, please? Thanx.

Default Spark Plugs & Coils for LS-6

I have a 2005 CTS-V, LS-6 engine. 123K miles. I am looking to replace the spark plugs and the ignition coils. What would be the best (i.e., high performance) products to use?

Spark plugs are like oil - ask 10 "car people" and you'll 10 different suggestions on which brand is "best". I think I'm using NGKs, but I honestly don't know. Whatever they are, they make the fuel-air mixture ignite.

For the coil packs, I've ever seen any reason to use anything other than the factory ones. I bought a full set of spares a couple years back and have only installed 1, which turned out to be unnecessary. I'm at 160k-ish miles still using what are (afaik) the original coil packs.

As far as spark plugs go, the best I've found is NGK Iridium IX. Best price is from Rock Auto

Avoid MSD! Worst quality control of any vendor.

They would not even warranty the replacement coils I was sent to replace the defectives.

They would become inoperable/intermittent after they got warm, the internal connections would "let go" due to poor soldering.

NGK plugs all the way>> coils>> either OEM delco or Delphi, but NOT msd, their wires are pretty good tho. spend your money elsewhere
