Followed the manual on removing the steering column. Battery cable/fuse. Pulled the bolt under the hood. Pulled knee tray and 4 bolts holding column. Upon pulling the wheel and bracing the column, the shaft slid out of the column…. Wheel speed sensor forward is still attached to the rack. Anyone have or hear of anything similar. What are the odds I can drill/tap a screw/bolt into the shafts. I’m Stationed in Germany, so not sure about ordering a junkyard column…. Shipping was $300 last time I needed something.
