B&M Ripper from a C5

Will it fit in the CTS-V? My friend has a V and I have a Ripper for sale so I thought maybe it would fit. Anyone know?

Unfortunately, the V is unique. It uses a remote linkage arrangement unlike any other vehicle.

Damn, I really wanted that shifter. Whats everyones preference on a short throw shifter for the V?
