What's the fastest 1/4mi times seen yet out of a CTS-V
Just curious as to who's got some of the faster times out there. What's their e.t.'s and generally what are there mods? Possibly considering putting one into the 10's, just don't know exactly what it's going to take. I'm a newbie to the CTS-V scene. thanks--Andy

Well, 10s sound a bit ambitious!
The "problem" is the independent rear suspension. Built for road racing, and it does a fine job of it.
But at the sacrifice of a hard launch. Now, I could see some nice #s with a twin turbo setup, a much beefier rearend totally reengineered.
BlownCTSV has run a 12.63 with minimal traction through 1st and 2nd, this is with 500 RWHP, he did run a mid 11 trap speed tho.
Traction and durability will always be an issue in the V, but used for its intended purpose, its an exceptional car!
Most of the V #s I've seen with the blower are only marginally better than the mildly modified stock cars due to a lack of traction, most Vs seem to hook up much better on the street than at the track, odd but true.
