Bald Tires at 3800 miles possible?
I noticed tonight that my rear tires happen to both be bald. Car has 3800 miles on it, and just got a new halfshaft/hub bearing from dealership 400 miles ago. Fronts are fine, rears are literally showing construction. Never burned out in these tires, and have had no launches/full throttle shifts since new rearend. Is it possible for the stock tires to wear out so quickly, or do you think the dealership may have accidentally put teh wrong wheels back on my car when they finished the work? Thanks

this sucks for you! Nobody will believe you when you say you have never burnt out in this car! The more torque you have, and the way you drive play a big role in tire wear. Even though you dont spin or squeel the tires, does not mean you are not hard on tires... Quick acceleration does a number on these tires.. But your story sounds like they should have alot more meat on them.... You might want to watch how you are driving... Probably accelerate too fast all the time, and arent realizing it.!?

All my cars have rear tires with no tread left. This always happens within 4 months of putting them on.Coud it be my driving style? WOT in first and second gear at every chance. I will never grow up!!!

VERY possible on this car with the sticky tires... even cadillac realized it:
