Hey Chuck, I met w/John yesterday @ CCW & picked up a set of the same black-chrome SP600's. He mentioned that my factory center caps could be tinted to match. Have you tinted yours & if so, how have they held up? Thanks

I painted mine, but I think tinting would be better...

Definitely don't use the VHT window tint spray. That's the whole reason I had to paint mine... I honestly think window film at a tint shop would be best. They're never gonna match if you use any form of paint due to the fact that the wheels look chrome in direct light, and black chrome in the shade...

Of course if you had gotten regular chrome this wouldn't be an issue Chuck Sorry couldn't resist.

@ Earl H, apparently John from CCW isn't offering black chrome as an optional finish any more. He explained that the rims are actually shipped off to a company in CA where they're coated with the "black-chrome" finish. The whole process just takes too long to do.
The rims I picked up this past weekend were a set that someone had ordered a while ago & just got tired of waiting three months to get finished. He can sell you the rims & give you the name of the company that he uses if you're really interested….

man, i love the look of those wheels...

but, these are 19'z right? Is it me or can the rear wheels be a bit bigger like a 20". They look sweet but the 19'z look a bt small in the back with the large body panels...

There 19's all the way around. The rears are 10's as opposed to 8.5 so the lips just a tad bigger.

Ideal maximum rim width for the rear is 19 x 9.5" 19 x 10.0 inches stick out past the wheel flares just a "smidjen". Check out iforged for some nice selections in 1 piece, 2 piece and 3 piece configurations. I am running 19x8.5 up front and 19 x 9.5 in the rear with 275 rear Toyos and 245 front Toyos. Beautiful 3 piece wheel set -up!
