The upper mount AND the lower mount have been redesigned. The center section will not be flexing in rubber bushings anymore.

I wouldn't be too sure of that. REMEMBER we are dealing with a "hardcore" racing rearend here that won't have all of the soft cushy isolated busings. Some road noise and possibly gear noise is to be expected. Now it's not going to be too bad but it aint gonna be Cadillac approved.

Bogart makes "drag racing" wheels only. You need to be looking at something like Fikse which will be about $3800 for the set.

hmm...what kind of mounts will it have? Since this is gonna be a heavy duty, racing item, yeah...some trade-offs should be atleast expected but im interested in how much more will this rear end vibrate the interior, noise...blah blah blah!!

However, this are factors that can only be guestimated right now but i would like to know....though that isnt gonna deter me from buying one of these bomb proof rears!!!

I am using urethane bushings on the housing to mount to the cradle. Yes it will transfer more noise than the soft rubber that is there now. I looked at hard mounting but I think it will make too much noise.

I am trying to give you the best of both worlds but this is a HARDCORE part so there are some trade offs. Just remeber this isnt your mommas Oldsmobile.

Any idea's on price yet, or realistic time frame when this "kit" will be availible? I have a rear-end that wines like it will give out at any minute, so I will be looking for a solution soon.......

Hmmmm.... This is VERY interesting.

If the Camaro drawing look correct, the CTS rear may end up under the new Camaro. If so Madman, you need to patent this bad boy, and have it all ready to go for '08-'09. I'm sure there will be ample demand for it.

In addition, I'd be interested to see if you can make the same (or similar setup) work in a GTO...

The GTO and Corvette are next once the "V" is done. Oh and then of course the '09 Camaro.

The cradle should be in this week from what I understand, then the driveshaft will have to be made.
