A few of us are going to try and organize occasional meet-n-greets in the Seattle area. The first will be this Saturday 29th @ Fry's Electronics off the 405 (exit 5). The time is roughly 10am. We'll probably drive somewhere for lunch and possibly even drive down to Pacific Raceways to watch some of the NHRA drags.

The last meet didn't happen...not enough interest.
The new meet is:
Saturday 5/13/06, 12 noon; Redmond Town Center. In the central parking lot (in back by Ruby's, Claim Jumper, etc.)

Soft of. It always rains "somewhere" in and/or around Seattle. Most people don't realize that there is actually more annual rainfall in their own states than Washington. It's just always misty here in the fall, winter and spring. Summer here is hard to beat though.
