no, the sub has like 6 inches before the plexi...there are mirrors around it so it looks like there are unlimited subs...and there are like 20 blue led's around it...looks good and sounds so clean

Where are your amplifiers mounted?? I'm planing on doing something similar with my sub enclosure but for now have an Image Dynamics 10" running free air on the JL 500/1. (300/4 on all JL components in doors and tons of deadening) I've got (2) 10w6v2's that I want to do behind the rear seat but having the seat redone like you did was what I have been curious about. Did they port your sub through the factory opening or is it just firing into the rear seat? A couple of pics of what I did. I've got a R/F 3sixty ordered for signal processing that goes on the space right behind the sub underneathe the decklid.

Please post some more pics with the seat folded down. I'd like to see what they did in the cut out.

Thanks,

Shane

they had to make a custom port and cut the armrest and the metal behind it..they said it wasn't hard but they had to make a bracket so the armrest wouldnt go limp lol.... here are a few more pics....
the pic with out the beauty board was when it wasn't finished...i have my factory door speakers and have a jl 500.1 mounted on the side of the box.... unless you know exactly what you are doing with measuremetns dont bother even looking into the box...its more complex than it looks..and every part of the box has to have a good finish bc of all the plexi and being able to look into the port...if you have anymore specific questions email me at
ajp06@fsu.edu

you can see that my armrest is different..it has a custom screen built in so that it looks finished and now no1 can touch the sub....
yours looks good too!!
i have no dynmat and no raddle....that was mostly what i was going for..looks and no rattle
i got exactly what i was looking for
