Loanman, you think I got tossed from the other forum for running my mouth? you sir are dearly wrong. Get your facts straight. I was telling a fellow V member who was asking some very technical engine questions, and wasnt getting a response...that he would probably be able to find the information on this websitee (ls1tech.com) I was just trying to offer helpful info. All the stuck up cadillacforum members who have to know everything (or pretend to) couldnt bear to have it known that these guys (ls1techers) who have been working on ls based engines for decades longer than all the "know-alls" at cadillacforums, could answer a question that had them stooped..........AND THEY BAN ME, for nothing more, nothing less. It's ridiculous.

I like all the Vs in this thread, some mods are not my style, but there's no accounting for taste. As far as the nicest V, it is still mine (04ctsvfl is right there beside mine), I am biased, but I got good taste, too!
If someone hates on your V, ignore them, its yours, enjoy it, never change it because someone hates on it.
Regarding the bikes, wicked, I need one of those, as I think it will quench my 'need for speed'!!!
Sorry for taking the peacemaker role, just who I am.
Enjoy the 4th, drink some suds and burn some rubber, and then go kick some import ****!!!

mike - the vents look terrible, imo. but if you like em, rock em and enjoy.

vman - love the hood and the rear spoiler! the headlight and side marker tinting, however, looks awful to me. if could just be the way the light is hitting them, but on your car the all the front tinting looks really bad...doesn't look like most of the other v's i've seen. but like i said, it could just be the way the light is hitting them. also....damn...those wheels are just plain ugly! before you get defensive, i will admit, i am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to aftermarket wheels...honestly, i find 90% of aftermarket wheels to be ! the silver lining is that the size of them doesn't appear to be an issue, though. keep us posted on the n2o; i'm considering a going that route in the near future!

I hear ya but the photos just don't do the car justice. The lights are painted and very dark when the light is not directly on them but not too dark to where the lights dint shine through them and look exactly the same as the tails do so thats definitely a lighting issue.

The wheels are 3 piece forged aluminum and are extremely light weight but I do agree everyone has their own taste and pictures simply do not do this car justice.

The nitrous will be fun and I will send up info, dyno's and pics once complete.

thanks for the input guys

this is how the wheel would like if we had more room for a larger lip.

love the car...great job all the way around, some people got ***** to critisize but then again maybe daddy wasnt around to show him manners. thats where i step in. jk.
also a question pertaining to your painted lights...
how was it applied (inside or outside)?
what if any negatives to painting the fronts lenses (not fogs/signals)?
and what should i ask my paintshop prior to getting this done?
i dont wanna be a pest,... i just figured to ask sum1 who's not afaid to take risks, instead of others who wont. thanks! =]

Great looking car man. If you don't mind, what did it cost for the grill/wheel powder coating?

Default Luck n Tattoos

I bought the car with the grill, wheels most lights coated/sprayed... traded a tattoo for the rest of the lights. waiting to have my reverse lights done. The guy that I got it from owns a custom bike shop in GA. 1 of his painters hooked it up.
