I noticed in the Dec 2006 issue of Motor Trend, pgs 88-92 a comparo showing the CTS-V R SCCA race car had 6 bolt wheels and looked very similar to the stock Speedline wheels ... minor difference with the open hub on the Rs.
The CTS-V R has a beastly setup (in a good way) with 18x10s up front and 18x12s rear magnesium wheels with Toyo Proxes RA-1 275/35ZR18s up front and 335/30ZR18 in the rear.
Anybody have info on these wheels, fitment on a stock V, race team or wheel manufacturer contacts, etc?
I'd like to know if anybody has ever tried to put a set of the 18x10s in the rear of their stock CTS-V ... or up front for that matter. The aftermarket wheels that are out there are nice but I really do like the clean looks of those stock Speedline wheels.
Thanks.

o.z makes the wheels.
I have 18x10 on the rear with no problems. Can't remember the required offset though. You will never fit rubber on 18x12s without the fender flares. Never tried putting the 18x10s up front.

Thanks NoSlack. Who is a good source for O.Z. wheels? If you ever get the crazy idea of trying out the fit of the 10"ers in the front let me know. Also, if you dig up the offset info on your setup I'd appreciate it. Which wheels do you use? I would think that going wider on a larger dia wheel wolud be a better fit - maybe not.
I'd think that the look of 10"ers all the way around would be interesting.
Stock tires are 245/45-18s and I've seen 255/45-18s on a V all the way around. I'm wondering if someone has posted a table showing tire/wheel configurations with the associated offsets on stock and modified suspensions.
On stock wheels I have BFG KDW 245/40-18s up front and 275/40-18s in the back. The 275s definitely don't fit up front - seem to be about a 1/4inch too wide - just barely rub the upper arm.
