Default Question - Battery Saver - warning light

Has anyone experienced a battery saver indication on the NAV screen?

I was having some issues with the car's lights, NAV, radio cutting out under hard acceleration.... the car did not cut off, just the non-essential electrical systems cut off....not completely....but definately not a good thing. I took the car out today for a spin and was checking the volts while I was accelerating. It appeared that the volts were decreasing as I hit the gas. Anyone have a guess? I'm taking it to my local speed shop this weekend. I read that the battery saver is activated when there isn't enough battery power, which is why the lights, radio and interior lights cut out. I am hoping it just needs a new battery....

I was reading some of the information in the stickies and saw that there were some issues with cars lights dimming at stop lights, etc...

Thanks for any info....

Could be a battery but when mine did that at 50k miles, it was the alternator.
