Are there any specific CTS-V forums that I could check out? I would like to browse through some CTS-V classifieds.

You have here and cadillacforums . com. Neither is a very good place for classifieds in the V's.

Default 2005 Excellent V for Sale

I have a Silver 2005 V with about 13,500 miles that I HAVE to get rid of. The thought of seeing it go makes me sick to my stomach, but I received orders to San Diego and CAN NOT take it with me. It is in SUPERB condition and the only things I have done to it are:
18" Chrome Cadillac Rims (5-double spoke)
CAGS
Corsa Exhaust (Sounds Beautiful-but not brutally loud)
K&N Cold Air Intake
Tinted Windows
I also have the Predator Tuner that I will give with it (Nice)

I can't explain how nice this car is, and I don't want to sell it to just anyone. I want it to go to a good home ;0) if you know what I mean.

I am asking $30,000 for it. Located in Chesapeake, Virginia, near Norfolk.

I seen a 2005 CTS-V in WI on cars.com today for 23,000. Had a clean title and clean carfax. 30K miles I believe. Raven Black w/ Ebony interior

I'm probably going to buy my old Caddy back. I sold it to a friend for 34,000. 2005 w/ 11,000 miles Maggie, H/C, HRE Wheels, etc.

You can find 05's pretty easily for upper twenty's and low thirtys.

There are alot of mis-leading ads in cars.com for CTS-Vs. I've called on 3 of them now.. I think its the same guy.. He wants money and offers a 5 day "inspection" time after delivery, but wants all money wired to him and wont give you his name! F that! There are 05s on there under $20k, most of which I think are this scammer!

You know the saying "if it's too good to be true". I see a lot of V's advertised as having a warranty and they have lots of work done to them like h/c, supercharger, nitrous, ect. Good luck finding a dealer that will actually warranty the car like that.

I went off the road in a curve some one put new gravel in their driveway and it was in the middle of a curve at night. I hit a tree on the front passenger side at about 25mph. The damage was not to bad, it hit to the right of the hood, with no damage to the hood other than a scrap from the tow truck. The brunt of it hit the tire. It slightly bent the mounting poing for the lower control arm on the engine cradle, and the strut was slightly bent. The engine cradle, strut, and lower control arm were replaced, body panels that were changed were the bumper cover and passenger side fender. I believe that its the windsheild washer jug or something that is there behind the bumper was the only other thing changed that was damaged. If it wasn't for the flat tire i would have been able to drive it to the shop. it was painted from passenger door to driver door(scratches from a bush).

I think thats everything, but I may be forgetting something it was in 10/06.

The one I sent to Justin is at a Chevrolet dealership. It seems legitimate being that it is listed on the dealership website as well.

A 2005 CTS-V for $23,990 I think it has around 40K miles on it.

I bought my old 2005 CTS-V in early 2007 with H/C, Maggie supercharger, wheels, UUC, KARS STG III - for $33,000 and it had 8000 miles on it.
Car was flawless in every way....

There are deals out there and mods don't equate to a total loss of warranty. I live next door to Lindsay Cadillac who have a very mod friendly service manager.

Yes there are some dealerships out there that will warranty anything, but I would be willing to bet 90% won't. It's still misleading when you advertise it with a warranty and the person buying the car will probably not have a dealership that will follow through. Maybe they should say, "Most dealerships will void this warranty, but the one next door to me doesn't".

I tend to hope people apply common sense.

With the mentality you descried a person could take 50 aspirins and see what happens. If they get sick they can then sue the company - no one told them they couldn't take 50. The directions said to take two.

A person with a moddified car should not have to explain to a potential buyer they may have to take the car back to stock. It isn't misleading it is common knowledge.
