Default B&M shifter installed

Installed the B&M shifter today, with UUC bushings. What a pain , I didn't remove any of the exhaust or lower the transmission. Took me about 3 hours total. Shifts are soo damn crisp now. It's like magic.

It is a bit noiser then stock, you can feel the extra vibration when you put your hand on the shifter during shifts. Not too bad, overall very happy with it. I will most likely wrap it with a bit of dynamat tomorrow.

The bushings helped as well, my factory ones were a bit squished. New ones removed any lateral shifter slop.

Like a whole new car doesn't it. My bushings were like yours and squished out the back, they were about to fall out.

Where did you get your shifter at? B&M had discontinued them for some reason, maybe they're back in production. Bob

atlantic speed is the only place to get them. in order for them to make them you have to buy 100 or more. I have already been through this

Like loanman said, atlanticspeed.com has a bunch of them that they sell on their website and they always have one on ebay.

So far it's a world of difference. No slop, very little, and much more precise. Absolutely a must in any V. Install was straight forward and besides a little noise in 2nd I'm very happy.

Went for some spirited driving yesterday after the install...car I finally feel like I have the car I was wanting. :wow: Who thought 4 doors and 4000lbs could move like this?

Will this work fine on a 2006 V? The B&M website states it's for a 2004-2005 only.

Thanks!
