I'm looking to buy a V, I found the perfect color combo on one in houston - but I don't have the time to go all the way out there to check it out. I understand there are a number of issues that should be checked out ahead of time w/ these v's. The most common gripe i hear about is the wheel-hop problem...


What do you guys think?

Looks clean, good price if that "Existing" warranty is actually the factory warranty.

They all have wheel hop, it's not a problem that only some of them have.

That one has magnaflow mufflers, but they look different than mine so you should inquire whether it's the full catback or just replaced mufflers.

the first one i test drove didnt have any wheel hop -- and i drove it really hard --- i actually scared the s%*# out of the sales guy

 

You will only get wheel hop if you do clutch dumps, power shifts into 2nd, and the first time you drive it in the rain and think it would be a fun car to drift with...
