Textrallia makes a great product from what I've read. I have the c6 z06 clutch but it wouldn't hold up to 700hp. Talk to Wait4me, he has 8XXhp in his V I believe so he would know what to use. Also, talk to Bob at EPP. He's made a couple of V's with insane power.

Iron Twin disk ??

Call Spec or check out Tex or McLoud. Those are the only ones off the top of my head that I know that have products behind big big power cars.

Which ones have you tried?

I drove a buddies vette with a centerforce in it a couple weekends ago, this was his third clutch on his 500/500 twin turbo. The Tex OZ700 was junk as far as I'm concerned, I never wanted to drive his car because the chatter was so nasty. The LS7 he replaced it with was nice but felt too soft and wouldn't hold the power.

This centerforce is great. No chatter at all and the pedal feel is awesome. Supposedly it'll hold up to 750 rwt so you may give them a try.

I've seen a couple stories of centerforce clutches coming apart and totaling the car.

Talk to RPS. I have not used them but they have some awesome clutches. http://www.turboclutch.com/ They can get pretty pricey, but hey if you can afford an 750hp engine, I'm sure you can drop 3k on a clutch.

Wonder what the peddle feels like with that much clamping force?

Im currently using a textralia twin disk exoskel. It is pretty nice so far. the other 4 clutches i have used are ****. Sticking peddle, hard to get into gear issues and just flat out slipping are issues i have had with the other guys single and dual clutch disk setups...

I got it at vengence racing. But i did have to shave off .500 off the katec spacer to make it all fit right with the exoskel.

Peddle is actually pretty soft still, but firm. And it does need higher rpms to keep the thing from just grabbing instantly and killing the engine at low rpms. Like 1500-2000 to start from a dead stop. It will GRAB.

So far the spec stage 3 lasted the least at less than 800miles, the twin disk of theres smoked itself after about 1000 miles, The centerforce lasted 3000 miles. I guess they dont like 900 ft lbs of torque. ???

Thanks for chiming in and proving me right wait4me. LOL

I'm loving the tune. I still haven't got to rip on it yet because I just got done breaking in my clutch. I can tell a diff in the butt dyno even with driving very soft.

Default awesome clutch here

south bend clutch has an awesome clutch pressure set up we worked out talk to Andy 800-988-4345 or 574-256-5064 tell him Aaron from atlanta with the K-Series reffered you. They will probably need to fab a spacer for you as Andy will probably indicate and aluminum flywheel. Katech Engineering (Jason) also make an awesome short-throw shifter that goes great with the above combo.
