Default CTS-V overheating

Hello I work at a GMC dealership, and we have a customer with an 05 CTS-V that has a 6.0 bored out to a 402 and a procharger on it about 620hp at the wheels. I was wondering if you guys knew of any oversized radiators out there. the car will over heat on really hot days sitting at stop lights with the A/C on. the cooling fans are working properly but the stock cooling system doesnt seem to be cutting it. any help would be greatly appreciated

EPP put a ron davis radiator in a V but he had to cut the car a little to make it fit.

Check with EPP, They put a ron davis radiator in my V, It's the one in the link on the previous post from Jerrad,
Had the same problem originally When I had the D1sc procharger installed it would get really hot in traffic with a/c on.
When we upgraded to F1-a procharger & did the forged 402 we added the ron davis radiator , haven't had anymore heating problems since

Madman has it now, installing the 9" center section , new drive shaft & half shafts. Hope this one holds up. Madman showed me the center section he's using in it when I dropped it off, Gotta admit that is one really beefy looking piece of aluminum. Case walls must be an inch thick

With the weak rear you could do some supra numbers. 12 flat at 135mph. Hopefully it will do some 1.6 or 1.7 60ft and turn a good number. Good luck with it and keep us updated.

You might want to call Ron Davis directly, or call Luke at Lindsay Cadillac. If I recall, EPP made a vette radiator work, with some modifications.

Ron Davis fabbed one up specifically for the V in the past several months. Luke @ Lindsay sells the new RD radiator.

What is your thoughts on the rear? Do you really think it will hold up?

EPP runs spec stage 3's on most of their cars. I've heard a couple horror stories about the clutches exploding but it's 1 out of 172324675 clutches. Textarilia (SP) make real high quality with great holding power and still a soft pedal.
