Well paint shop said the only garauntee he could give me on painting the grill mouldings is he garauntees it to flake lol!!! So I attempted to removing the chrome on the part that goes on the hood and fucked it up. Called my local steeler they blow ****** ***** by the way. I wanted to order one for a CTS thats black or un painted. He said no u can only order GM parts by vehicle Vin. hope that made sence, im just pissed and not thinking right.

What he should have said is its easier for the parts guy to order parts by the vin. You need to find an old parts guy to look stuff up for you. Or monday when I get to work I'll check on it for you. I pimp GM parts for a living.

Couldn't you just sand off the chrome and then epoxy primer on top of that?
