What should a fair cam install price be on one of these cars?

I think I paid a 1K for headers, all valve train, cam......

wow, that's the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. i payed ~$2k for headers, hi flow cats, custom cai, install and tune. you got a helluva deal.

i hate this topic. there is alot more to cam swap then just tossing it in and tuning. so the cheapest isn't the best. unless you dont care about leaving some hp on the table after you spend $900 on a cam kit ...
with that said. if you are just tossing it 300-$400 labor.

if you are going to degree it add 100-$150 another 50-$100 if have the springs and pushrods checked all of which need to be done if you are pushing your PtV

Ive seen from $1000 to $1400. But i think that was with all acc needed and tune

It was SSP in Dalals. Street Strip Performance. I am not sure if the guy still has his shop but he made me a killer motor for cheap. Young guy, like 25. I hope he builds my next motor......
