You know that with problems at GM in 2008-2009 the CTS-V was a car that was ahead of it's time spurring many of the other manufactures, both domestic and foreign into an "arms race" like competition to provide a sports sedan that maybe in twenty years, will be compared to the muscle car movement in the late 1960's- early 1970's or the late 1950's sedan power race, at least a small scale version. Low production numbers and the propensity of many of the owners to un-stock the cars should lead to a small pool of true survivors 20 years from now. Scarcity it's what it's all about. I jump on craigslist frequently to check prices on V's and the amount of 2011 and 2012 V's that are available is staggering. When auto buffs look back at the CTS-V and what it did for the Cadillac performance identity coming out of chapter 11, I gotta believe the purists are gonna be clambering for the 1st gen factory original. I haven't even factored into the equation the connection with the Z06.... I think a stock V with low miles from 2007 is one of the best car investments to make under $25,000 from a car collector and investors stand-point that wants to speculate and if you can find an 04' with low miles (less than 50k) stock JUMP.
