FYI the spoiler you have is NON OEM. Factory spoilers came with "stud" bolts sticking out of the spoiler. So you would have to drill new holes...

Are you saying that the spacing/location is different or just studs vs. nuts/threaded inserts? My car came with no spoiler so I have to drill no matter what.

Do you see above where it was compared to a factory spoiler above in this thread? Are you saying that both spoilers compared are aftermarket, different, and different in the same exact way? Is it possible that the OEM uses a threaded-in stud and those simply came out when the nuts froze on the end of the studs making it seem more like a bolt?
Thanks for the info.

I guess there's a nice version of a CF V1 spoiler now on ebay.

Guys, please explain or pass what you're smoking over here? This is a "some day" project and even if it just hung on the garage wall I consider it worth the hundred bones(shipped!).

Additionally, it would make quite a badass Batarang.

From what I can recall at least from back in the day, the OEM GM spoiler had 6 studs that were molded into the spoiler. You then had to use a template to drill the holes and install the nuts from underneath.

The spoilers from DIFDA (because I have one) mount the opposite. The nut is basically molded into the spoiler and the bolt is installed from underneath after the holes are drilled.

Yes you got a great deal even if its just wall art!

I bought an aftermarket on on eBay brand new painted for $100 shipped but it didn't look right and the fitment was slightly off but not bad. It looked great but I knew it was not OEM so I waited until i found a OEM used painted one in great condition on eBay for $70. So I know what exactly an aftermarket and OEM is.

Factory spoiler...

Oh. Well, if you want a refund lemme know! I guess I didn't know that my other spoiler wasn't the same mounting as OEM.

Seriously no sweat. I meant it when I said if I did decide not to use that I would use it as kick-*** decoration...or crime fighting.
